The purpose of the annual AHCP artist residency is to give students and recent graduates of the State Academy of Fine Arts in Armenia the opportunity to experience the New York art scene and network with fellow artists for two weeks. Upon their return to Armenia, they will be given access to a studio at the Academy where they can create art and work on related projects in conjunction with the Academy and AHCP.

The residency is unprecedented in its scope and reach targeting emerging Armenian artists. Airfare from and to Armenia, as well as housing and a weekly stipend for food, museum visits, and transportation in NYC will be provided to the artist by the generous support of our friends.
